EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Something old and something older.

Winds gusting >25mph today. Gale force warnings on the ocean. Must have re-ignited the recent Colorado Fire. Hiked up the dozer line through burn area to check it out. An island of half burned chaparral was on fire and surrounded 360° by total burn scar. Wind blowing away from nearby house. Texted local fire captain buddy. He wasn't concerned. You can see the smoke in the 2nd shot. Rocky Creek Bridge visible in 3rd. 20220215_140440.jpg20220215_140530.jpg

I lost a pair of linesman pliers and DPX Hest Brass Zippo in a pit like that. The pit was deeper and more greasy.

Keep that CRK safe!
I lost a set of needle nose once in the bottom of a lift station. We redid all the motors, floats, alarms etc. They pumped the tank in the morning early, plumber climbed the ladder down then came up and wanted to borrow my sharpie and needle nose. Went back down, came back up and tried to give them back to me. Buddy you can keep those, they’re yours now
I see how your day is going!
Pumps and alarms failed and flooded a bank basement. The smell of stagnant water is strong

Is that a micarta T1?

The AD15 is the polar opposite of what i look for in an EDC folder, normally preferring something with slicey geometry and a bit more pocket friendly presence. It is beefy, hefty, and just thick everywhere only getting carried a handful of times since acquired a while back but so far im enjoying it and we will indeed get acquainted for the week.

Yes, micarta on the T1. 154cm steel, which I‘m kinda fond of. From the big river site. Liked it so much that I purchased a second example a couple of days ago. Very sharp & lightweight.
