EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today, Limp studio's presents... The Mantra 2 ;). This guy may be my new main carry edc for a while. It's slim, small feeling and super light but has a surprisingly long blade for how big the handle is. Until last week I was kind of a hater of aftermarket thumbstuds because I thought it ruined the asthetics of a knife. However I decided to order a few because I've re-learned lately that my favorite way to open a knife is with thumb studs. Opening holes I like too, but if a knife has only a flipper and no thumbstud or hole with it I tend to not carry it as much and it feels kind of boring to me. I like to be able to deploy the blade using multiple techniques, it keeps things interesting and gives me something to do. So I added these thumbstuds to a couple knives and I have to say, I really like them. On both knives I added them to, they feel like the knife was designed to have them and the placement worked out perfectly on both of them. It really adds a new perspective to the knives for me and I ended up really not minding the aesthetics at all either. And I'm super happy to have a nice thin Spyderco heat treated M4 blade and am looking forward to it earning a nice natural patina. And ooo look at that nice chamfering.🤙

Record warmth and strong South winds are melting things like crazy today. Afternoon rain is going to make a mess of things until it changes back to heavy wet snow tonight and all day tomorrow. Sure hope it freezes up before any flooding takes place.

The birds and squirrels are on a feeding frenzy right now, a sure sign that bad weather is imminent in the next 12 hours.
