Chainsawed a 35 year old aloe bush that poison oak has been growing through ever since. Here's one of the poison oak stem/roots that was underneath. It's about half the diameter of the largest one. View attachment 1748295

The mere mention of poison oak makes me itch!
Nasty stuff to be avoided at all costs.
Fortunately, the last time it got me was back in my student days at UCSC.
