EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I just got caught up on two days worth of this thread, having promised myself to do so before posting. I finally set the Quantum Ursus NL aside as I was wearing out my weather-cut thumb playing with it--even gave it a little cut there when I missed my nail releasing the lock. I'll take a few days off from frame locks again to let it heal but stayed with Shiro for Tabargan Tuesday.

Yesterday evening I found the perfect location to pop the question 💍

Which CRK to get next?? 😂🤣

Chainsawed a 35 year old aloe bush that poison oak has been growing through ever since. Here's one of the poison oak stem/roots that was underneath. It's about half the diameter of the largest one. View attachment 1748295

I missed out on getting one of those knives recently by seconds. Possibly one of the only “mis-outs” that haunts me. Very nice! :)

:)

That question is already answered with a direct order from CRK 🤣🤣

What better way to commemorate a wedding that with a special knife? The new wife should be on board. Every time you carry it, she'll be reminded of that special day and your continued devotion! Plus, not a bad way to start off her formal relationship with a knife guy. Maybe do a "his and hers"?

I got a friend of mine a personalized Henry Rifle as a wedding present. His wife wasn't happy about it then. All these years later, she has come around and enjoys shooting it with him on occasion.

The Real Steel H6 Elegance in 14C28N is a solid budget beater. Running on washers, it snaps open nicely but doesn't fall shut. I got it because it is a larger knife that can be carried tip-down. I usually carry tip-up in my right pants pocket but when that pocket is taken, tip-down against the right seam of a rear pocket sometimes happens.

The midnight snack is hot chicken and olives. It is a surprisingly wonderful combination. The sauce was made from Captain Thom's White Zombie hot sauce and Finlandia butter. The blend of red habanero peppers, tropical fruit, and spices balances beautifully against the rich Castelvetrano olives.
