EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today's actual EDC on top, just-for-fun carry on the bottom. :D

I've owned quite a few CS mega-folders, and this may just be my favorite. It's my first GSM CS, too, and it's on point. Apart from the logo, the fit and finish matches my pre-GSM CS experience; it's excellent. Can also be had for about $100 less than street price ($250 feels high) in several places.

I try to switch things up on a daily basis, but I may be in the minority in that my knives don’t get called on very often during the day. Don’t get me wrong, I use them….but it’s usually for very light tasks; breaking down a box, cutting twine, small jobs around the house and garden etc. I always have a fixed blade and a hard-use folder in my truck and backpack, so if I need to do any “real” work they’re at the ready and within easy reach.

As an aside, part of the reason I carry a different knife every day is because I like taking pictures. If I’m being totally honest, trying to get a few good pics throughout the day is what I find most enjoyable from the “hobbyist” side of all this. I just use my phone and really don’t know much about photography, but seeking out that “perfect” shot serves as an enjoyable pastime for me. I do the same with my watches and my vehicle (for their respective forums), and as a semi-retired guy it gives me something to strive for every day. Not sayin’ my pics are anything special, it’s just that I truly enjoy the process.

Anyway, just thought I’d chime in on the topic and share my reasoning….lol, even if it only makes sense to me.
