Personally I’d dye the G10 (not a fan of jade) and use them. Like you, I think copper and brass are entirely too heavy for a pocket knife.

I'm not big on steel frame locks and I passed on the Civivi Nox. However, something about the Sencut Tynan caught my eye. So far, I like it. It uses 10Cr15CoMov, which is a Chinese analog of VG-10. Given their excellent heat treatment of 9Cr18Mov, I imagine this will be decent at the very least. Either way, not bad for $50.

Hasn't left my pocket in quite some time. Big enough to handle oranges at work and an overall joy to open.
