K390 is good stuff. I highly recommend it.

As much as I love Spyderco, this happens more than any other brand I have. It doesn't help that I'm constantly banging into stuff, laying on the ground, jumping off equipment, etc. all day.

I might try an aftermarket clip soon. On a positive note, these clips tend to bend rather than snap, so bending it back tight is easy. I just dislike losing my stuff!

Just got back from a family vacation to the Oregon coast, which was lovely. I feel like a bad enthusiast, though, because I didn't remember to take very many knife pics. I brought my Hinderer XM-24 as my primary knife and my large Sebenza 31 as my backup, but the XM-24 never left my pocket.

I always like to try new junk food on road trips, so I kicked this one off with an Abba-Zaba. It looks like something you'd peel off a road, but it tastes great. ;)

Here's the one scenic location where I remembered to get my knife out for a photo: Yaquina Head, home of the tallest lighthouse on the Oregon coast (93 feet). The beach below me is full of tidepools and sea-shaped cobblestones, and the stones make a wonderful sound -- kind of like crowd noise, but not quite -- when the waves go out.

I did remember to snap a pic when I put my feet up on our last night in Oregon, at least. :)

One of my favorite places to go, we try to go once a year in September or October. That’s my favorite lighthouse, and was dads favorite place to relax. Hope you enjoyed your vacation!
