EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I have the White River caper which is awesome but I worry about carrying for EDC. Hate to lose. A $57 Izula could be the ticket

I like the look of the Caper but just haven’t talked myself into buying one yet. I have three Izula’s and another one that should be here Saturday. They aren’t perfect, but they are an excellent for my needs. Pair one with a SAK, or other folder that’s a good slicer, and it’s about all you’d ever need. Personally, I prefer the 1095 Izula over the stainless, and they are definitely cheaper. I would also look at the Becker BK11 and BK14, if you haven’t already. I have both of those as well and love them, but the smaller Izula is easier for me to carry comfortably year round.

I think the whole knife correlating to the day theme has impacted me on a subconscious level.

Case in point: when I went to choose a knife this morning the first thing that came to mind was “Mnandi Monday”.

The obvious rub here is that it’s Thursday where I live too…..and yet, that’s the basis on which I made my selection.

I think you’d like the backpacker model if you can snag it. I love the choil and acute tip it has. But I always have a fondness for the Izula haha
