EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Yesterday, outside in the rain at the job site after installing the door I made for the panel enclosure....

Hey Gary, just out of curiosity (and I apologize if you’ve posted a review somewhere)….but how’s the action on the mini? The knife keeps catching my eye, but I struggle with front-flippers in general and haven’t had a chance to try many. I realize there are a lot of variables, but do you find the smaller size any easier to manipulate? Thanks.

By the way, I always enjoy your pics!

To respond better about the ability to front flip this one, here's a short video I made this morning.

Now the clip is I think more important to grip the knife than to use it in your pocket as being quite short and stout, it's a tough one to get over the edge of your pants pocket, I usually wear in in my shirt pocket for that reason.

And in the video you'll see using the thumb, much like a bic lighter and the forefinger also like a bic lighter and then a wild west fanning opening that I came up with a while back that also works ;) basically you press the jimping into your palm as you slide your hand backwards, causing the blade to snap out.

Excellent demo.

Gary, thanks so much for posting that great follow up video. Heck, ya’ make it look so easy and snappy I think you just sold me on the knife. Now it’s gonna be a race to see if I can replenish my fun-fund before inventory disappears.

Again, much appreciated.

You're welcome, it also took a nice edge as well, it is small enough to really ride in your watch pocket, but mine, well it's occupied right now, no room in the inn there I'm afraid, so my shirt pocket works fine and makes it more accessible anyways riding there, plus it's light enough not to drag your pocket down either.
