EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Hey, that was my new carry for the day too! I had a coupon from Sencut and used it to pick one of these up. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but I do. With the same steel at the same heat treatment but better ergonomics, this will straight up replace the Ferrum Forge Lackey for me.

Now I'm thinking about getting the version you have for a scale swap. The only question is whether somebody else would want a "blackout" version.

Nice size right! and wish I had a coupon :( but otherwise pretty happy with mine.

Maybe you could contact Sencut and see if they'd send you scales and blackened hardware? Worth the ask

Edited to add that I made an adapter belt loop for my sheath, while horizontal carry was ok, I like a little more handle in the sheath, just in case! And vertical carry with the provided belt loop puts the handle up into the rib area, not very comfy, so I made a leather adapter so the knife carries a bit lower and rides easier on the belt now.

Belt loop was curved to match the angles of the sheath, so you see one side starts lower than the other;

How's the textured handles on the arius? Nice and grippy without being overly aggressive? Thinking about picking one up to go with my smooth CF.
I love the look and feel, but it's not dramatically more grippy than plain titanium. (I knew that going in.) Much closer to plain Ti than, say, the standard Hinderer G10 texture. The milling is delicate and shallow, not aggressive at all.

When I got the Kizer Feist I wasn't sure how I would enjoy a dedicated front flipper but this knife is fantastic.

Saturday I painted baby boys room.

This morning started with some playtime in the yard with my daughter.

After playtime I started sanding down a changing table to prep it for a new stain.

I hate sanding!!

Have one of these in the mail, lol. Great pic!
Thanks! I’m fully on the button lock bandwagon because as a lefty, they are really easy to operate. This Kizer button lock though is in a different league than the other budget offerings (looking at you, Civivi). I think you will love it too!

Went for a hike today and afterwards decided to hangout at the trailhead for a bit a do a little whittling. I've only ever whittled totems and signs before, but decided to buy a block of basswood and try my hand at making some miniature sculptures and what not. I kind of drew a rough outline of a little canoe I want to whittle and cut a section off the block with the saw on my Leatherman Wave. It was kind of slow going but it made a pretty dang straight cut for going at it from both sides.
