Sorry for bumping an old post, but that Diskin Revolution is sick! There are some floating around for sale since Blade Show just ended. The action is stupid crazy. And the multiple ways to deploy is cool. I may have to grab one.

I had a few Protech Magic Whiskers hidden scale release models. Loved the mechanism, but the knife itself was meh.

Matt's work is top notch, and the Revolution is an awesome model. I've been on the hunt for the predecessor to it, the Wheel model...and Matt actually managed to scrounge up enough parts to build one last piece. He surprised me with it at Blade this weekend...I totally squealed like a schoolgirl🤣

Today I’m celebrating marriage to the same woman for the last 25 years. She’s always been a little indifferent to my knife addiction. She’s never gone out to research a knife on her own to give me as a gift - and that’s not meant as a slight to her. It’s just that I usually have solid leads for her to follow when knife gift giving is concerned. I’m sure some of you get it. Well, that changed today, so please indulge my lengthy post.

Today she gifted me this William Henry knife called “Elegance” carved silver for our silver anniversary. This year happens to be William Henry’s 25th year in production. This particular knife is number 10 out of 25. She chose 10 because October is the month of our engagement. The knife has blue topaz which symbolizes strength, love, affection, truth and forgiveness. It also has sapphires that symbolize love, sincerity, faithfulness and commitment. This knife is packed full of symbolism. Today my cup is full. Sharing with this group, cause I think some of you would “get it”. I don’t really have other knife nuts in my life, so you all are my outlet. Apologies for the sappy sentimental post, but I can’t resist sharing with others that share the passion.
