I just use soapy water and a toothbrush, and then blow it out real well with the air compressor. I lightly oil the joints afterwards and call it good.

Copy that. It's pretty cruddy.

what Lee D said, but I use a toothpick to dig out the nastiest stuff in crevices first, then what Lee D said

My Rebar is getting really nasty (you can't tell from the picture). What is the best way to clean a multutool? There is gunk in nooks and crannies. Hot vinegar bath???

Hey my friend you could use WD40 or really even better would be any gun cleaner/lubricant.
I highly recommend Ballistol.
