Ahh, I know I'm just looking for an excuse... lol
I dont care for the 112 size. regular 112 is a brick in the pocket where the 500 (discon now) was thin and good pocket carry. the slim is nice but the blade length is a tad short for my likes. I prefer the 110 size slim. not too big, not too short.

truth though the slims i find a bit thin for using...okay for opening box or simple tasks...but I prefer the handle of a standard 110...

the sport is a nice mix of pocket carry and full handle and still lightweight for a 110 sized knife. those are worth a look...unless its the thinness you are after only.......

Honestly, neither do I. The 110 is already a brick, but it's a 110, I know what I'm getting. I can always use the pouch, or grab that wonderful Slim Select 110 with no liners, super-light. I like the longer blade, I think I am just a 110 man. If I'll bother toting the weight, I will tote a 110. I will just buy one of those Buck slipjoints if I really feel like I need a small knife from Buck. But, I wonder, is it just personal comfort or is it the lack of liners making you reluctant to go hard on a Slim?

Never heard of a Sport, will check out.

naw its not due to no liners. its the thinness.
I've been using slims since they first came out. there just isn't much to grip. its okay. doesn't matter on opening a package or things like that...on other harder folding knife type tasks I just prefer a thicker handle is all. thats why I prefer the sport to the slim or slim pros.

I own bunches of them, cause I do like them, but the sport wasn't around back then and now it is......
