My eldest kiddo was with a friend whose car broke down today, so I just ran out of the house with the knives I already had in my pocket. Took the long way home afterwards (as I am prone to do), found a great little out-of-the-way taco truck, and a nice little spot on the river to enjoy. I sent the wifey this picture to let her know I wouldn't be home for supper.

I did make it home for dessert, however, and to enjoy a long PNW summer evening on the back porch.

Great looking river to relax by.
Figs and Scotch I presume. I have eaten figs a lot of ways but never washed down by distilled spirits
