I have the Riffle in rosewood and Damascus. Nice knife.So I carried my Riffle for the last time. I was using it to cut some twine when a relative expressed interest in the design. He mentioned that his knife had fallen out of his pocket during a ride just a few days prior. I offered it to him on the spot.
Unlike me, he is a one-knife kind of guy. Knowing that he'll be carrying and using this knife every day makes me happy.

It seems fine to me. There was a bit of a learning curve flipping it. Using my thumb on top was no problem as was my index. It took me awhile to spydie flick it. Easy to slow roll with my thumb. On knives like this I prefer them to have a strong enough detent to slam shut. My MBK does that well and I have a neat Two Sun that slams shut. My Serge Bean has action like the Appetizer, you have to press the blade closed. My Vero has a week detent when closing which I find dangerous. I have to be careful with my index finger and be sure the blade closes. Sometimes with the light detent the blade goes past the detent but doesn’t close. It’s easy to cut your index finger at that point. Well for me anyway, ouch.
