I'm fighting getting a Demco but know deep down I will lose.

It's a losing battle, especially if you've ever played with one. The steel's okay and the scales ain't bad, but the action is the big attraction.
Though mine are very slick (I have two), I've got some Skiff bearings sitting here just waiting to be installed. Should be interesting.
