Good looking knife, though.I wanted to like this little Petrified Fish Scout more than I do. It's a cool design and I love that they used 14C28N here instead of their usual D2. It's just held back by a few finishing issues.
The milled lines on the scales were uncomfortably crisp. Something about how they meet the scale texture makes them catch against skin. I did a first pass with folded sandpaper but I need to do more. The spine edges are super crisp too. I suppose that would be good for striking a fire steel, but it feels totally misplaced on a dainty little front-flipper like this. Maybe I'll work on it this weekend after I get around to working on my Bestech Bandit.

I love it. Just made to be a knife. I like that it's not too busy. Looks like it has good geometry as well. Good grab, and I'll definitely be looking more into him.Nope!! I had Phillip draw up a design, adjusted it some n added the compound grind.......
Thanx for the kudos!!!! I love it and his work!!!! He is a maker here...
