EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Morning sir!

Tell me about that top fixed blade. You carry that one a lot!

Sure! Its a Bark River , mountain man!! This is the smaller version. 5.5" as opposed to the larger 7"...
Not sure of the steel but it's definitely high carbon!! A2 I'm guessing. I love the blade shape too.
Bark River recently made another couple of runs of both sizes in 3v. I wanna say in 2020 maybe....
They don't Pop up all that often in the exchange!!!!!! I'd grab another if I saw one for sale!!!!
Hope I answered your questions... If not, ask away.....
Have yourself a good week....
Best,

James

Thanks James!

It's a good looking peice and keeps catching my eye. Next time you show it, I'd appreciate seeing what sheath you keep it in!

Be safe

Blue Monday with my Sage 3, Version 1 featuring the Blackie Collins bolt lock. This is one I searched for a long time after acquiring the V2 of this model. I like it a lot for its texture, brilliant coloring, and its fairly rare locking system, but it's not a very practical carry with its very soft blade retention necessitating great care in handling. Still, I'm glad to have the knife as part of the Sage collection and for its fun fidget factor.

I'm sticking this IWB to hit our weight machine next door followed by a late morning walk and will change up later to work in the sheetmetal shop.

Edited to change Black Collins to Blackie as it should be. AutoCorrect is my enema. 😏
