EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Another lazy 100 degree day just with a different pose 😁

He looks very happy, my man! Haha.

Love the gear and your weapon of choice. ❤

Glad to know someone else is still enjoying their vinyl.
The post you were replying to was on the last page, and I just entered the newest page, so it didn't immediately click that you were talking vinyl LPs until I read that guy's full reply. I saw only your reply first and thought to myself, "Wait, did people used to use PVC as a handle material or something? 🤔" and then I read the part about spinning LPs. Yes, friend, vinyl is alive and well!

I came to the thread with this pic locked and loaded, I did not take this for the thread, lol. I have three stragglers that are sitting on my organization slab, Hypothermia, Mournful Congregation, and Conway Twitty, and one of those things is not like the other, so I left out poor Conway. There is no replicable feeling from a computer, of looking at that big artwork and extra liner notes while you take in a record, watch it spin, flip it.

(I got red, white and blue!)

I've been collecting music for more than half my life now, 13 years (since I was 12) I'm on my third analogue music collection (Vinyl and cassette both old and new, though I buy CD, too, but I suppose if the medium is recorded digitally, it is no longer truly analogue...), or should I say physical music collection. Lost my first and most prized through a housefire, second through a vindictive ex, but I had hardly built one up again, so meh on that. Third one, going strong again.
😄
I'm re-doing my shelves so I cannot take a knife pic in front of them right now, but here's my shelf in 2019 before my first re-shelving of these.

Ontario Rat 1A, G10 scales. Not a factory pocket clip, obviously.

This one is just for fun. This boy kills me. He loves his mom.
First of all, sweet 1-A 😎
Second of all, I noticed you, and TheFactor TheFactor both starting new families, with new, young cats in the home, and, well, I just thought this book might be of some help to those of you with young cats in the household, unsure of how to address gun safety with them. This will help you in a lot of other areas too, just helping make sure your cat runs with the right crowd and doesn't get dragged down by negative influences:

Bwhahahahahahaha!

My boy is very sweet, I think he's more or an artist. Definitely not one to learn the art of war, as Sun Szu puts it. I think I'm safe. 🤣🐈🐈🐈

Hey TheFactor TheFactor , are you having a baby too?

Using this Joker to clean up dinner. I really enjoy this knife...it's a workhorse.

An interesting note: The 14c28n is developing a patina. I have never seen that on this alloy before.

Nice catch! I also have a Sandvik 14c28n knife that has developed a light patina. I thought I was the only one who had experienced this haha. Mine was from storing unused for about 8 years unexpectedly and without any sort of protective coating like oil or wax. Looks like yours gets about the ultimate of a corrosion resistance test though between being exposed to sea water and using it for cleaning fish.👍
