Micarta Monday once again with the MBK Old Guard. Wore out the edge working on my bathroom remodel but didn't want to do a full sharpening. A few pases per side on my Spyderco double stuff and it was popping hairs again. Really impressed with this knife so far.

Also Mondays are nice because somehow you are delusional about the week ahead. Then Tuesday comes around and ruins everything....

I really dig the look of that Old Guard! When closed, the thumb stud appears really close to the scales...does that make it difficult to open?
