Just got the Quietcarry iQ. First impression is that this is quality - very nice look, smooth action, solid lockup with absolutely no blade play, perfect centering. Elmax steel is also a nice touch. Will be interesting to see how it holds up.

I have one of those. I didn't take good care of it so mine does't look as nice. Those HK knives they made back then had such nice fit and finish. The edges of the liners on mine had almost a mirror polish on them and the blade had a gorgeous satin finish on it. Wish I could get a new blade for it because it looks pretty rough now but they told me years ago they were out of them. Thanks for sharing the pic of yours.

Rotating thru my favorite cheap EDCs. Put the Kershaw Thermite 3880 away and pulled out another cheap fave, the Kershaw Natrix 7007.

Like the Thermite, the Natrix makes me wonder why I bothered buying the more expensive knife from which it was derived. In this case that's the unobtainable ZT0777 and ZT0770CF which can still be purchased new for about $200 (less on the 2ndary market). I've got a 0770CF and find it indistinguishable without looking at it, from the Natrix in my hand that you can still buy new for about $35. Another great knife for the price.
