An all time favorite! I’ve had mine since 2009 I believe? Pretty much been abused and neglected, but never rusted. I need to regrind the tip. I broke it off somehow. Not carrying it today, but an old pic.Picking mango today.
This steel is incredibly resistant to corrosion.

i agree the hamon is great. what is the knife on the left?
This made my day, thanks for sharing it.I assume since you are near the coast that the water is salt water.Just a quick backstory to where these were taken today. I have access to a few docks on the backwaters and inlets that eventually connect to the Gulf. So every now and then, if I happen to be driving by and have the time, I’ll stop and take a few knife or watch photos. Sometimes I’ll just take a 10 minute break from the day.
Anyway, despite the crappy weather I swung by to take a few pics for “Tukan Tuesday”.
With the pics not turning out too well, I decided to cut bait and get on with my day….but as I started to leave I heard a snort and a splash. I turned and realized there was a small pod of dolphins working their way out of this tiny little inlet. Even had a curious one come right up to the dock to eyeball me.

Assuming this video posts, I’ll apologize in advance for the lousy footage. The brackish water was so churned up from the storms that I couldn’t tell where they were gonna surface.
Anyway, I thought some of you guys might get a kick out of it. After 30 plus years living on the coast of southwest Fl….seeing dolphins is still a thrill for me.
Very short clip, just wish I’d been a lot quicker with the phone…
I ask because it has a hint of a Chris Reeve look to the handle, and isn’t Arno from South Africa? That is an Arno Bernard iMamba without the flipper tab. I did the delete myself on this one, but the guys at AB knives will do a non flipper on request.![]()

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the fixed blade?
