  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

AFCK is a classic as well. I miss the old days of Benchmade. I used to love almost their whole catalog. The 710 , AFCK , 707 Sequel , HK 14255 , Skirmish etc. It’s just different now.

That is sad but very true. I loved Benchmade. 551 (154cm), 710, 707, AFO, etc. Those were serious working knives, clean lines and sturdy. Now I have zero BMs left and stick with other brands. Cold Steel is also dead (lucky to own a Recon 1 Tanto from pre GSM times, quality of the newer ones is poor). Sad world, fortunately I bought a Spyderco Manix 2 G10 DLC which is still a true working buffalo with great ergonomics. Guess all the way walking back to Spyderco.

I agree. I have no BM’s left in my collection at all. The current lineup does nothing for me. And what’s with all the plastic-type handles now? I did like the Griptilian but always hoped to seek out a G10 version to no avail. I like Spyderco very much. Especially the Military. To me , it’s the 710 of Spyderco.

More wood on a Wednesday

I hate to say it guys. The closest I can get for either Wooden Wednesday or Wharncliffe Wednesday will have been made in Canada. :(

I'd love to get a Sebenza, large or small, with bog oak or box elder, and an Insingo blade in S45VN or MagnaCut. I just haven't seen one yet.
I need to send you a Buck 110......then you're good for your Wed deal.
