EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

It definitely is! The integral titanium has a really solid feel of which makes flicking it open very fidget friendly
I'm normally not a titanium guy, but I've always loved the look, and that it has a hole opener. One more knife to add to my list.

Nah a guy here made me a few scales. I forgot his full name. It was Phil something. It was over 14 years ago.
I think I remember seeing your RAM with those scales somewhere around that time. There's not many RAMs with wood scales out there! I've wanted to get some since. The one thing I don't like about the ram is the rough g10 and the button both have a similar "gripiness" to them so I always figured it'd be easier to work the lock if the scale underneath the button were smooth like you have there.

Yeah, I felt the same way about the grippy scales on the RAM. These solve that problem nicely & look good doing it. They even have a slight palm swell to them. I think they're ironwood. He made me a few sets for different knives. I may have sold one though. He did this damascus Zing in amboyna burl (sp?). The guy did excellent work. I wish I could remember his full name so I could give him credit.

Dang man, those are pretty! That burl has a really nice grain. I looked around quite a bit a few months ago for someone who made RAM scales but no luck, I suppose it has been discontinued for quite a long time though. Yea, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for someone who might be able to make some for me. Cheers!🍻
