Haha I hear ya. Although I would get one just because it’s awesome , I probably wouldn’t carry it very much due to the size. But that’s never stopped me from pulling the trigger before.

When this min russky came to me it had a wonky edge and the action was a bit gritty. Today I finally got around to sharpening, disassembling, and cleaning. Feels like a whole new knife.

Decided to rock the Police 4 in K390 for a while. Will change it out when I leave later on, but this knife is just fun.

Well I wasn't carrying it but the knife I've been working with is my newest purchase - 12" Parang duku chandong. Lots of batoning and chopping (prepping fire wood for winter). It does both amazingly well, better than my GB wild life hatchet but you have to use it correctly. I should do a little review although it's probably been done before. Fnf is excellent, love the hand made /forged blade, balance for a true working tool is perfect. Sharpens up beautifully (although came with a decent edge), tough and holds its edge better than I was expecting.
I know many look for the perfect blade for me this is it, I'll sharpen the first couple of inches differently for finer work as for a large blade it feels surprisingly agile for finer work.
But it won't stop me from trying and using new knifes!
