Truly like the way Alex makes the grain of his carbon fiber stand out and shine.
Totally agree. I like CF a lot and always rated Benchmade's at top of class. Alex's has lately also become a very favorite.

The small CF Strizh seems to have been media blasted, is more matte, and very grippy. While both the Leader and Hudson have that sweet shine you mention and what might seem an apparent slickness, they actually have a surprising tactility that works with their solid handle designs to make the knives lock into my hand nicely.

I'm just taking the Hudson apart now as it never got an initial cleaning, so that'll be at least part of today's carry if I ever really get going...
