We had to put our 12 year old German Wirehair down last year a few months before his 13th birthday. He had been all over the states hunting and field trialing and camping with me over his life. It’s never easy. I’m very sorry for your loss.

It’s been a rough weekend for the wife and I, Bailey was our life since the kids moved out.

Spent a little time sofa surfing with the MKM Viper Timavo this afternoon….and a lot of time watching the Weather Channel.

We’re all just waiting to see what Tropical Storm Ian decides to do over the next day or two as we’re still right on the edge of the cone.

Really not up for a hurricane this year. I keep telling people to put fans in their yard facing west. I still think it enough folks did it we could keep this thing from coming ashore.

It’s sad how often genius is mistaken for crazy.

Testing out the new 1:24 RC crawler near our campsite above the CIty of Rocks in southern Idaho. My kid and I hiked the two peaks seen in the back earlier, Independence Peak on the left and Cache Peak on the right. Both summits around 10,000 feet. Excellent hike up there.
