I'm not a big fan of coated blades, but that just looks nice with the red scales!! And the more I see the clip-point version of the blade makes me think I might have to get a second 940

You won’t be able to find this one, it’s a limited run from the early 2000s. BUT, if you don’t own a 943 (the normal clip-point version with black handles), you need to get one.

The 940 is what drew me to these knives, but the 943 clip-point has become my favorite.

Staying w/the larger knives, picked out a 4" CRKT M21-04G today. It's one of 4 Carson CRKTs that I own but is my favorite of the group. Love the tactical/military look and the fact that it only costs $50-55 (street price). A great deal for the price!
