Gross. Remodeling/trade work in restaurant kitchens is the worst. I was repairing a septic system all morning and I’d rather be doing that.
Great meters … can’t kill ‘em.
Those ironwood Dodo scales are pretty dang sweet.Dewalt himself made this one for me - it's a special lightweight aluminum framed T/E + PS, I hear Dewalt almost never makes a tanto edge but I guess if a custom maker likes you enough... my DWHT10272 also has the "WLL" system for solid lockup, an older pattern of lock but one that Dewalt is bringing back. Getting into customs is pretty cool.
Oh yeah, and I have that Desert Ironwood Dodo plus my Craftsman mini razor. Kind of cool - functioning thumbstuds and a lock + choil.

Wait….you’re telling me there’s a tree…..in your yard…….that dropped THOSE TWO BEAUTIES??!?!
Whoah.. That thing has a pivot bushing like a Sebenza?Took down my DSL coated Grayman Dua for a cleaning and re-lube for first time. Was very easy and went back perfect with perfect centering. Even polished washers View attachment 1962877View attachment 1962876
Haha. That’s actually relatively clean to a lot of them. I’ve seen this particular one twenty times worse than thatThere’s a lifetime of knife lube going to waste, new business Idea?![]()
Can’t argue any of those statements. I’ve worked in a ton of commercial kitchens and a ton of lift stations and septics, and yea I’ll take the later every timeGross. Remodeling/trade work in restaurant kitchens is the worst. I was repairing a septic system all morning and I’d rather be doing that.
Very trueGreat meters … can’t kill ‘em.
Worst one I ever saw was under a fryer, it had a compartment that held a pump motor. Entire thing was buried in grease. I’ve had to change relays and the motor itself a few times. Just terrible every timeThe fact that the receptacle is still energized with all that glurdge on it is actually more concerning. Nobody can convince me that this isn't a grease fire waiting to happen.
