It’s a Fox/CollectorKnives Recoil, eye-talian. I picked it up from another member on the Exchange after being really impressed by a Lionsteel Shuffler… which I also got off the Exchange not too long ago. I know they lack the soul of a true traditional, but I’ve really been enjoying the combination of traditional styling with modern materials and the clean fit/machining.May I ask who makes that nice gunstock.
Thanks for your time and answer, I have been looking at the lionsteels. It’s a Fox/CollectorKnives Recoil, eye-talian. Thank you my friend! Yea I really love it. To tell you the truth though it took some getting used to. When I first got it the opening hole felt weird and unnatural. This is a small 21 so there's not a ton of extra steel sticking out passed the scales to get a purchase on the hole. I think it would work best on a Large. That said, after just a short time of carrying it instead of just playing with it at home it became much easier, and now at this point it opens very naturally and I really like it. I also really like the standard double thumbstuds though, so I'm cool either way. This mod should be a standard offering! The wretched thumbstuds are the only thing wrong with CRK's IMO. this is a beauty.
