The nice is nice but the Estwing caught my eye. I did not think it was still available but is if searched for on the Estwing website
It's the 13" Carpenter's Hatchet, sometimes called the Half Hatchet or Ax. It's still in their catalog.

I carried that in my carpenter's tool box for quite a few years and it often came in handy. I had two leather handled Estwing hatchets for splitting kindling indoors--the older one here at the Russian fireplace and the other up North by the wood stove. Some scumbags broke into our camp in Vermont and stole that one along with some other small items and the one here finally gave up its handle and has been over in the woodshop unfinished for a couple years after starting on a wooden replacement grip. The Half Hatchet moved inside and is light and quick for splitting shingles, 1x and 2x pieces for starting/underlaying fires. It's not sharp or pretty at this point, but very effective.

Thanks. Effective is what counts the most to me. Hate you were vandalized and lost some possessions

Paracord arts and crafts with my 8 year old and my new to me beat to hell Ebay shaman. Spent 2 hours this morning cleaning who knows what out of it. Will definitely need a tip reprofile but I got it to open and close with a centered blade and a basic edge over 85% of it's length. I could have done worse placing random bids on ebay after drinking. A lot slicker to hold than the crucarta pm2 but after a day of housework it's growing on me.

Thanks for that - it made me trade my new Yojimbo 2 + cash for a NIB Shaman just like yours. I should have it here by the end of the week...
