I took this picture in the morning. Can you see the touch of frost?

I carried this Kubey Thalia today. It might be my favorite Kubey design and it's certainly one of the better front flippers I've tried. There are lots of nice touches here and I'm going to call this a budget win. The main negative was in trying to strike a good balance between action and lock-up, resulting in a little play. This issue was completely solved with an upgrade to Skiff bearings, though that brought the total cost closer to $50.

This is a Monterey Bay Knives Old Guard with black micarta and ZDP-189 San-Mai blade. It's a fantastic knife.
