Thanks! It is an “Essential”. And yes it does work well as a small edc. Nice four finger grip and enough blade to do standard edc tasks.

Do you know what a static cord is? Then you can just throw the knife in your pocket with the sheath on and when you need it quickly you can just reach down and pull the ring and the sheath will pop off.

Just attatch a short cord to one of the bottom holes on the sheath and stick it in your pocket. When the cord runs out of length as you draw the knife quickly in an emergency it pulls the sheath off the blade.

Otherwise for normal less dramatic drawings you just push the sheath off with your thumb.

Today's work carry the Hogue Deka magnacut with og aluminum scales. I didn't like the factory frn scales at all made the knife feel to light, the aluminum isn't much heavier just makes the knife better balanced imo.

I’m a day behind. This was Sunday’s sofa surfing and football fandom finger fired fidget fun.

Pretty sure it was my fidgeting with this particular knife that allowed my Steelers to hang on for the win. Wish I’d figured it out a bit earlier in the season, but hey….better late than never.

Last night I cut up 7 large cabinet boxes into small pieces. The governor performed very well and only required a light stropping when finished. Overall very impressive. Switching to the frag pattern 0562 today.

Love the governor! Underated imo with that nice deep hollow grind thats really thin bte, nice action on pb washers, and affordable to boot!

It is actually David’s Wharnificent model. Nice little blade with a good size handle.
