EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Good day for a steel nerd.

That's a great pair of knives captured in a perfect setting. Colors seem to be enriched by setting sun.

Thanks for the kind words. To be honest, this morning was shaping up to be a typical, boring backyard mossy rock or faded deck rail pic. However, when I saw the color of the sky and the set in my hand, I realized there was a pic opportunity that should't be missed.

I was over in the woodshop making a jig to fit and solder pieces for a sheetmetall project and discovered my Makita LS1216L slide saw was cutting out of plumb. I spent a couple hours reading the instructions and frigging with the adjustment without much luck as I could reset it, but it came right off plumb again after changing the bevel setting. I finally figured a work-around which seems to have held, but by the time I was done with that it was dark outside and I'd had enough frustration to quit what I was doing and head back to the house to make some Mac & Cheese for J and my evening meal. I never got any decent outdoor pics of my PM2 along the way, but shot these while making our supper.

As you can see below, I don't use my folders for food prep, as we have more than adequate kitchen knives for that. They're not anything really high-end, but our small set of Wusthof Ikons made from some sort of CrMov German steel take a decent edge and are more than up to the task.

Been going through the "workshop" and all my dad's stuff. His indoor work area. He had 2 workbenches in the garage, though one was taken apart when he bought the boat. Found a pair of Jordan Jumpman Pro 2 shoes in a file cabinet. I gave those to him for Christmas 24 years ago. Can't have been worn much.
