Man that's a good looking knife. I wish I enjoyed carrying slip joints more.NKD; this guy was waiting at the front door when I got home today.
I’ve wanted a Hug since their release, but for months I’ve been incapable of deciding between the different versions. I ruled this particular one out because I figured ordering from overseas would be a headache. I’d also sworn I wasn’t dropping another nickel on a knife this year. Just wasn’t gonna happen.
But late night, post-med online window shopping has a way of jacking up the best laid plans. Way too effin’ easy to say “Ok, yeah….why not?”……especially when your better half is curled-up next to ya’ on the couch snoring away. No….seriously, I tried to wake her up to talk me out of it. Honest.
Anyway, I’m actually glad I have no mental fortitude and the financial restraint of a potato. I’m diggin’ the poplar burl inlays and the knife is everything I’d expect from a Viper. Five days door to door, so no headache to boot.
On a side note, however; my wife says I’m not allowed to have screen time after 9:00pm for the rest of the year.
Lol, she’s usually asleep though by 9:15.
