This one today, just received it yesterday...it was on sale, so I took a shot. The design has never looked attractive to me, but I thought it looked like a useful tool, so here we are. I dont know what was happening in Golden, co the day this was built, but the QC department was absolutely not on their game. I won't bore you with all the details, but has anyone else had a bad experience with a Siren? I purchased it new from a very reputable dealer, so these were absolutely factory issues. I should say, this is my first terrible experience with spyderco, and I've purchased over 100 knive from them over the years...so not a "normal" thing.

Thanks for the response, as I didn't even know about previous qc/recall issues. I actually like the ergos and aggressive g10 way more than I thought i would, so I think I'll give it another try.I had one of the original factory defective ones three years ago. Had to wait a year but they were finally recalled and replaced. My replacement has spent 18 months on the coast and has been perfect. I‘d suggest getting yours replaced and giving the knife another try.
