EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Yesterday was both long and oddly weird. I was in the gym all day for seven games after setting up the night before then staying my usual hour plus afterwards cleaning up and putting things back the way I found them. For all that time I'd forgotten to pocket a knife when I left in the morning and spent all day getting that funny, empty feeling whenever my hand brushed past my right front pocket. I almost went home a couple times to grab a blade, but figured that was kinda silly, so I just toughed it out and the need for a knife never came up anyway.

This morning I was sure to grab a knife first thing. I'll be both standard and brief with my consonance for Micarta Monday and perhaps my friend bigolegator bigolegator will relent and un-block me after my earlier overly-extravagant wordiness seemed to offend his sensibilities. 😏

These short winter days are really getting to me, so yesterday I decided I just couldn't stand it anymore, threw on the spikes, and forced myself into the cold so I could get out in the woods. Man am I glad I did (my knees not so much, but there's whiskey for that ;)). I hit a cool waterfall that fills with icicles in the wintertime. It's usually an easy 4 mile trail, but since the road is closed for the season it adds another 5 in the snow. Well worth it though

All phone pics this time, as I didn't want to worry about the camera in the elements, plus dexterity and gloves were a factor.
