EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

How's that ROK treating you? I've had my eye on it for a while. that looks like the aluminum handle, that's the one I want.

It loosened up a fair bit, as it came rather stiff. The retracting clip is not the tightest, but so far I haven't lost it yet, so it does the job, and it's what gives the handle a great ergonomics without any protruding clip hotspots.
The anodizing is not the most grippy, and already dinged up here and there on the edges, but that's what alu ano does over time, and I am not the most careful person with my gear. Also, I got this one in December last year and it's already got quite some mileage it.

I've seen a few of your jazz sides in the background here and there too. That's the late, great Stanley Turrentine pictured on the cover of the Mosaic CD box set of his Blue Note Quintet/Sextet Studio Sessions. Sunday's usually vinyl day, though, and I've been spinning LPs--right now Miles Davis's "Blue Haze".

Thanks on the kind words for the 247. There's a lot of them out there with a lot of bling, but I like my plain handles and understated PVD/stonewashed finish with just the gold ano hardware for highlights.
Nice ! Yes I love my Blues and Jazz but been a little lazy lately so haven’t been spinning any vinyl just cds and some HD files
I think today though I might pull some Vinyl out of the sleeve like maybe a little Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughn

Ah, Albert King and his upside-down Gibson Flying Vee guitar. I date myself, but one of the times I saw him live was on a bill with Ten Years After at the Fillmore East. At one point he joined with Alvin Lee later in the show trading 8's. The Englishman could play a lotta licks fast but AK could sure make you feel the blues.

Edit: BTW, how you diggin' that XM24? Nice shade of blue.

Hi FF! :D that sure looks like a Manly Wasp.
Happy Sunday brother! Don’t it tho!!? I bought it from Larry on the exchange. Really like his work. This one’s actually not a slippy, it’s a liner lock. I dig it very much. It’s got a nice traditional pocket folder feel/vibe, but upgraded features like Ti liners, XHP blade, PB washers etc. Larry is good people too. Enjoy your evening!

Awesome! I kinda switched over to more traditional knives last year, when Customs stopped shipments of Spyderco's etc from coming in. Things seem to be getting through now, but I thought what the heck just in case, I will start in on two-handed knives just to be safe. Besides, I have at least 6 or 7 Spider packs full of one-handed knives. :D

Those have an amazing list of specs for the price! Larry really hit it out of the park with this model.

Lately, I’ve been liking classic type designs upgraded with great materials, so it’s no surprise that your work is also at the top of my list right now :)
