Rained much of the morning, then started snowing in the afternoon after a couple hours' break from precipitation. Small Sebenza has been the choice of the day again.

Very grateful to live somewhere i can hike on holiday days between xmas and ny and still not see another person...

Currently trying to sell my other remaining few knives except these, perfect setup for me... had hundreds and hundreds of knives over last 10 years sold them all, keep coming back to a small sebenza and a smaller winkler...

What’s up with the watch? It’s beautiful, but I have never seen a “fuel gauge” or whatever they call that lol …
also am I crazy or is that left handed, seeing as how the buttons are on the left side…?
Just asking because my dad’s birthday is coming up, and I have no idea what to get him, but a nice watch might be the thing (and he hates metal bands).

Hey Tony, sorry for delayed response, been under the weather …
The watch is a Citizen Aqualand, the “fuel gauge” is exactly that - a battery level indicator (it’s an Eco-drive; battery charges with exposure to light).
The buttons on the left side (top and bottom) control secondary functions; chronograph and depth readings. The center one is actually a depth sensor. The actual crown is on the right side at the 4 o’clock position.
It’s a great watch, I am a fan of the Citizen Eco-drives, but be careful … watches, like knives, are a slippery slope …

Today I got a new Spyderco Delica 4 from my kiddo. In my opinion this is one of the best hard use knives out there. The last one I had went 15 years strong and I never sharpened it. This new one is going to be a daily user and abuser since I know it can take it. So glad to ad this to my duty gear.
