Had a dusting of snow, and the sun popped out for a few minutes. Took advantage of it outside with some home made Tamales fresh out of the steamer.

First ride today
Nice Knife! I snagged this model on Black Friday for like 25% off or so ($192 instead of $240). I have started a small GM collection, but the Jutland with the lanyard developed a problem as I discovered tonight while taking these pics that it is not locking up, and it almost bit me! I'll have to contact them about getting it looked at. Be careful...

Happy Fixed Blade Friday! I finally got a more powerful flashlight with a deep red emitter. The camera doesn't come close to doing it justice but I suppose this neon pink effect is cool.

I’ll definitely keep an eye out for it and it’s the actually the first I’ve heard of that issue from the brief research I’ve done although I was researching just the the grand. I had some DLT points saved up so got a pretty good deal too . I liked my Biblio so much a SMKW dealer exclusive in the blue lava CF I had to try the grand and so far I’m loving it . But for sure you never know man these things can happen and glad you didn’t get bit !!

Not the only knife I carry but seems to be the one I grab. Got home from work and took it off. Was heading out for Mexican and margaritas. Naturally that means swapping to the native chief Jade M4 and Pm2 crucarta....
Took my shoes off and went back in the house to put my riverhawk back where it belongs. 9'oclock lanyard forward.

Well, I was trying to film the problem on camera, and the blade bounced up and into my hand after all. Do stupid things, learn stupid lessons.

In for Carbon Fiber Friday
I have had this same problem with the last 2 giantmouse knives that I have purchased- an ace grand and a jutland...the lock bar barely touches the blade...like 5% lockup. Not acceptable imo.
For me its the drift today
