Just cause you can take my humor is all , in a Southern drawl voice, that I don’t have btw…So often, a particular day's carry for me is prompted by someone else's posts here. In this case, that began mid-week last with @Austin James 's post of his Kapara with it's handsome natural canvas Micarta scales. I had a bit of a duh period at first, trying to identify the knife despite the fact that I own one with stock CF scales. Prompt two for today, then was ordering a similar set for mine from RGT (AJ's are Dept_13, but I don't do Instagram). Prompt three was my back-and-forth with @maxjeg about Russian fireplaces which led to prompt four, the inevitable ribbing I get from my friendbigolegator based on my large accumulation of Russian-made knives. Lastly, after I carried my PJ iMamba yesterday, I saw @Keyopp 's post of his Micarta inlayed version (wicked nice, BTW, and something I hadn't seen before), which led to this celebration of Micarta Monday, pocketing my F3 Python.

Did you feel the weight difference?Chilling out after a long day and a very long weekend. Of course hearing on the news that the Chicago Public School system embezzled 77% of their covid relief fun is not exactly relaxing. News off now, gonna watch some stand up comedy.
I decided yo weigh my PM2 while at work. Turns out the micarta scales and ti clip reduces the weight by .25oz.View attachment 2041111

Please center your tv. It's messing with my OCD!Taking a break from redoing/organizing the lower level. Enjoying the new TV for some Sunday night football.

It's much more centered now. The room is a work in progress. To the left (with the old tv) had been a stack with the receiver, a tivo, blu-ray, and a turntable. The rack was an rigged together ugly creation of my fathers. I'm trying to streamline everything. That cut out was made 25 years ago, my father anticipating wide screen tvs would become a thing. Please center your tv. It's messing with my OCD!
