Many thanks! As is often the case with Rit dye, it didn't turn out exactly as I had envisioned, but I'm quite pleased with it nonetheless. On a side note, both of my gloves failed so now I have dyed thumbs to match. I'll probably have to carry the knife for the next few days in case anyone asks what's wrong with them

Thanks! Yea, I wanted to snag that 2022 vault pattern before the year was up and got in just under the wire with that release. Those covers and carbon steel made for the perfect combo

It’s the same one I’ve had for years and been carrying the last month or so. I don’t think I’ve bought a new knife in over three years

This is about a 45 minute drive from home, i don't do this particular trail too often just because I'm very lucky to live somewhere i can get to plenty of amazing trails in 20-30 mins
