EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This may be a silly question, Chip….but does that fob (or whatever that is under the blade) serve as part of the knife? The curves look like they may meet up, but I’m obviously not familiar with the knife. Thanks.
Phantom Knives Ripcord Medallion by TRM, the fob is the "key" that unlocks and closes the blade. It clicks into place when closed, and a firm yank extends and locks the blade. There's a video on my Instagram 👍

Thanks for including your video in that link, really cool design and piece of history you got there 👍

For the third in what's become a week's rotation through my Shiro's this is an easy choice for Wooden Wednesday. Since it's original release the Quantum has often been characterized as a Persian-style knife and I originally had that impression as well. After acquiring this Ursus NL version I've come to realize that there's no upturn to the blade shape. It's really a straight run along the spine after the blade flat gradually drops forward of the raised, jimped thumb ramp. Both the long blade belly and the downturned handle slabs do carry something of a Persian vibe, though the knife is nothing like my Olamic Swish which is definitely that style blade.
