My wife stopped complaining about new guns or knives years ago. Now she just wants to know how much she can get for them when I'm dead.Yup. Never again. It only lasted a year thankfully. She wouldn't be happy about how much I've added to my knife and gun collection.
Currently trying to decide what knife to carry today. It's become a difficult process.
The kids have been riding me hard to get my Land Cruiser back running again. They are wanting me to start taking them camping and four wheeling with me, which is great.
It’s been parked for a year. Spent yesterday cleaning out the inside and threw a battery in it. plan to pressure wash the outside today and start changing out all the fluids and filters. Have an order coming with a bunch of ignition/electrical parts sometime next week.
Anyway, here’s what I’m carrying.

Stock photo but a micarta urban trapper followed me home today. local grocery store has a gun section that has a few knives, on the shotgun shelf pushed towards the back (the we dont know what to do with this section) this little gem was hanging out. No box no price apparently they had no idea what it was. I'd recognize an urban trapper anywhere. Couldn't pass it up for $75. View attachment 2069932

I was pricing S&W backpack style short barreled .44 magnums online this morning. My wife isn’t crazy about me dropping somewhere around $1500 on another revolver, but she knows firearms generally hold their value, and someday she’ll be able to sell them off if she chooses to and take a nice vacation. That’s the line I give her to make a purchase sound more like an investment. My wife stopped complaining about new guns or knives years ago. Haha. I didnt really think about it. Worst case it falls 50ish feet and hits the ground. Shouldn't lose it but might result in some damage. You got balls man. I couldn’t put my stuff on a grate like that.
Funny how life is, I exchanged vows with my wife, you know till death do us part. She is long gone (divorce) yet my knives are still by my side and I thank God every dayI had a wife like that. Once.

In my 20s and 30s I went to a lot of gun shows and did quite a bit of buying and selling, so she’s seen that the money is there if you want to sell a firearm. Some of the stuff I wish I’d keptHow’s this really working for you?. Wish my wife would believe this, see has me listing what I have and what I have into it.
