I carried the Sencut Snap today for Wooden Wednesday. If you are following along, these were the scales I had up in the maintenance picture on Monday. They're not perfect but this is a big improvement.

Finally, a week here, and I get out on the water for a bit. Mosquito Lagoon, right on the edge of Canaveral National Seashore. Water was crystal clear today, and teeming with life as always.

When I grilled my steak last night I had an extra filet, so I saved it for today to make steak sandwiches. The Benchmade WhatnotOrOtherRiverOrCanyonOrSomethingWhatever made short work of slicing it nice and thin.

I'm not sure what to name the resulting cheesesteak sandwich, but it's definitely not a Philly. Much better than a Philly...Hmmm...Let's call it a ...

And of course, dessert watching the sun set on the back porch

Many thanks my friend. Yea, in both of the locations I live I'm truly blessed to be surrounded by such natural beauty. That's just a spot off a side road that I like to stop and visit from time to time.

HAHA! and aptly named I'm afraid.

Luckily since I grew up there I've been immune since I was 3 or 4 years old. They bite me but it never leaves a bite mark or itches anymore, just annoying. Also, this morning was a bit chilly for them I reckon, so they weren't out in swarms

And yes indeed, that Chocolate Stout is a favorite of mine. I like dark beers in general, but that's one I just keep going back to.
