EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

A big ole chunk of the right stuff for Ti Tuesday. As much as I love my beautiful S45VN Northwest Coast Edition, this older, worn-in, S35VN PJ (Bill calls 'em clears Edit: clean) is a real go-to knife. I'm the third owner, having picked this one up off the Exchange as a user to be a work/hard-use knife. It came already broken-in, super smooth, and with a really scary WickedEdge re-profile from the first owner, touched up by the second. While its thick blade is not at all thin behind the edge, this knife just flew through a bunch of cardboard I sent skyward this morning as I began heating up the Russian fireplace on this chill, wet day.

Carved the first tobacco pipe I’ve ever made, works well enough. Good first start. Looking forward to getting better at pipe making.

This one’s in Black Cherry wood.
I'm a pipemaker (among other things).
You might want to check out Missouri Meerschaum for cob blanks and then all you need to whittle is a shank (and/or add a stem). Also check out Vermont Freehand for all your pipemaking supplies. The PipeMakersForum is an amazing resource - those folks are Pros and any question you could ask has been asked there.
