Back in the PNW, and all knives made it fine through checked luggage once again. I didn't post much towards the end of my stay, as I focused more on family and nature pics (my son joined me for the last week there), but I spent as much time as possible out on the water in Canaveral while I could. Already miss it.

I can't recommend enough, if you ever have an early morning flight out of Orlando, staying in the hotel that's right there inside the airport. Rolling out of bed straight into the terminal is hard to beat. Plus views that frame the runway and sunrise as well (even caught a rocket launch from the balcony). I'm not too sure about room service sending a plastic knife with a strip steak though .
