This one’s been pretty much a drawer queen since I got it as I’ve always been a big baby about scratching up black blades. I’ve been trending more toward a use it or lose it policy lately, so I pocketed my 908BK-1501 and cut some rope, cardboard, and stuff cleaning out the garage/shop today. I put a few light scratches in the cerrakote, but nowhere near through it. Pretty tough stuff, great knife, and a helluva blade steel too.

I had been on the fence about getting one of these for a long time, until I heard about Mr. Bohn's passing. Figured I'd buy one to support KSF, and who knows how much longer they will be in stock and/or produced. I'm loving it thus far!

I went over to the KSF site to check specs on the knife when I was writing my post. There was Derrick in his video on the knife. He was a good dude and his passing was so sudden and sad, but it was nice to see him “alive” in the vid. I hope they leave that and others of his up.

Derrick did a great job spec’ing and collaborating with BMK on this exclusive. The Stryker platform is excellent to begin with and the -1501 is superb. The CF grips are outstanding.
