EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Is "old school modern folder" oxymoronic? How about "new old stock"? My new-to-me Al Mar SERE 2000 arrived just in time for Throwback Thursday from woodysone woodysone on the left coast, but I ask because it's a great example of the sort of old school modern folders that I love, like my BMK 710's or AFCK's. I figure it's a throwback too, as it's no longer in production despite there still being some new old stock available at dealers here and there.

Anyway, I'd say I had a seriously duh moment with this knife, but it's actually been a pretty duh 24 hours. I've been toting this around, extolling its virtues, taking lots of pics, tied up a lanyard, had it in and out of my pocket more than a few times, and only realized about a half-hour ago that the clip was set up for left-hand pocket carry. I did at one point think it odd that the handsome Al Mar logo was on the lock side of the blade and there was even a light clip wear mark on the ostensible "show" side. I just went back and looked at a bunch of Martin's posts, too, and those knives of his I saw were all set up for right-hand carry, Oh well, I just dealt with the world's two tiniest screws and got the nicely butt-mounted clip reversed. Next time for right-hand carry pics....

Well, thanks to TheFactor TheFactor I was convinced to pickup one of the OffGrid Tracker X-2 knives

had this turtle bead that goes with the texture of the handle quite nicely ;)

Quite the robust knife, while still having a thin grind behind the edge,
