EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Couple days now this has been my sidekick.
At the gym I don’t even notice it’s there.

Headed to Crystal Beach next month for a few weeks. Be taking the ferry over to Galveston several times for dinner @ Gaidos. I remember the days when they would loan you a jacket so as to be suitably dressed in the dining room. Still have wonderful food. Saw your post re. dinner on the Ship Channel. Brought back memories of Nassau Bay and our condo on Clear Lake: not far from where you dined. Sounds as if you’re having a pretty terrific trip! Stay safe.

I'm staying in Clear Lake. Gaido's is sort of my family's restaurant. The founder, Mickey Gaido, his first wife was my grandmother's cousin. Big Italian families down there. I'm also related to the Maceo's, though we don't talk about them, my family didn't want anything to do with their mafia relatives lol.

Crystal Beach is nice too over on the peninsula. I'm headed to Dallas tomorrow, will be meeting my half sister and her family.
 
My "F U My coworker just got jumped and beat for his wallet outside my place of work" MINUS THE DANG 10V Kizer I lost... Black Micarta... Honestly think it was the universe teaching me a lesson. Not to carry Chinese knives. Ha, but really, something else.

I was starting to carry all small and low-key... No Cold Steel on my person... Spray at home... Errrr, no more.

Love the history of Gaidos….it’s truly a legendary spot!
I moved to DAL from Nassau Bay to manage an acquisition: five years of that and then retired to the Hill Country.
You may experience a bit of “TX Spring Weather“ on your trip. 🌪️ Truly enjoyed our conversation….safe travels sir!
